Growall
 



Growall is a green wall made of ceramic module parts that form together a vertical garden while still allowing light to come through. The Growall can be used as a room divider, an outdoor green wall or a wall pieceThe projects goal is to give more space for urban growing indoors and outdoors. The construction can be assembled indoors to act as a divider between open spaces and rooms. It can also be assembled as an outdoor function to enable as a front of a structure.  
 

 

Materials; porcelain, PLA plastic.

The inspiration for the project came from researching the Mashrabiya ; a shading element used in openings of buildings, windows or walls usually more common in Muslim architecture. the model helps shade and cool down buildings by letting air in and keeping direct sunlight out.
The plants grow in soil or in small hydroponic ceramic balls that hold the water and the roots of the plants.
Growall is hanged from anchors on the structure. each ceramic module contain a place for a plant
